It is with regret that due to the current global situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Council of the European Orthodontic Society has taken the difficult decision to cancel the Congress that was to be held in Hamburg in June 2020.
This is a tremendous disappointment for the orthodontic community in general and for the EOS and the EOS Conference Organising Committee in particular. We were looking very much forward to welcoming you to a grand EOS Congress with more than 2.000 participants and more than 50 exhibitors and sponsors. However, our primary aim is to keep our delegates, speakers, exhibitors and staff as safe as possible at this time.
Since we are so close in time to the date when the 96th EOS Congress would have taken place, all financial, organisational and practical arrangements have been set up. Hence, there will be a significant amount of work in the coming days to handle this new situation.
We understand that you may have questions at this point. However, we ask for your patience and understanding. Please note that all delegates and sponsors for the meeting will be contacted shortly and you should not contact the EOS or MCI at this stage.
We apologise to all those who will be impacted by this decision but would request your understanding.
